Rally's ™ World of Warcraft ™ Midnight patch 12.1: Curse of Ula'tek ™ Venomous Abyss ™ raid signup, for the PC entertainment system
Patch drops: PLACEHOLDER
First raid day is: PLACEHOLDER
Every Tuesday & Wednesday from 7:30 CST to 10:00 CST
You know the drill baby girls, here are some reminders on basic rules and expectations for new and returning raiders:
-
Show up on time, every time, ready to go. 7:30 CST means we're pulling trash, not logging in. Real life comes first, if there's an issue just let someone know. Simple as innit.
- You are required to complete a SINGLE M+ dungeon every week/two 8+ delves. If you don't, you'll be barred from rolling on loot for a raid night. Stay caught up or be pulverized. Our requirements are incredibly lax.
- Myis is god in raid, but sometimes Myis is stupid or misses something. Suggestions and collaboration are always welcome, just at the appropriate time. Mid pull is not the time to theorycraft and debate strat.
- Zero tolerance for policing other raider's gameplay. If there's an issue with someone's performance, we'll know, and they'll be addressed privately.
-
You have to enjoy World of Warcraft to participate in the raid, or be fully capable of shelving the negativity while we're raiding. Do not sign-up over FOMO and be miserable about the game the whole time.
Note for new sign-ups:
This is not a hardcore raiding environment by any stretch but we do pride ourselves on doing pretty well. We are friends who like to play the video game World of Warcraft together for fun and whimsy, and part of that fun and whimsy is meeting a certain performance standard. If you can follow instructions and you're open to learning, you can meet those performance standards. We love new friends, come be a friend.
Note for returning raiders:
Vibes were harsher than usual last season (Midnight season 1), we all felt it. It wasn't from one thing or one person in particular, it was a combination of a bunch of different pain points. Blizzard decided they didn't want addons anymore, which forced a bunch of people to play with new UIs they were unfamiliar with, which led to a bunch of attempted workarounds, which led to bugs, which piled on top of all of the existing bugs from them trying to paradigm shift the game by nuking addons, on top of the stilted story a lot of people did not feel engaged with, on top of having a significantly large raid team that just led to more chances for more people to be upset/annoyed/frustrated with any number of things. Going in to season 2, the expansion is settled in. You need to make a mature, informed decision for yourself based on what I laid out in that
underlined red text above that if you're going to raid you need to be able to vibe police yourself. I ain't saying head in the sand pretend like everything is fine and you're completely happy with the state of the game, I'm just saying for the two and half hours twice a week we spend together playing - do your best to focus on the positive experience and save the gripes for later. This is a voluntary hobby activity and the goal is to enjoy your time doing it. If the state of the game is going to hinder that for you one reason or another, that's fine, skip out a season, we ain't going nowhere, otherwise that's all I'm (Myis) asking.
With that being said, sign-ups below! Any additional questions or comments you can message Myis or any other Special Boy rank in the Discord, or talk to us in game.
